RCT Rural Community Transportation

Rural Community Transportation, Inc. (RCT) is a Transportation brokerage that uses all modes of transportation including commercial buses, cars, taxis, volunteer drivers, van pools and rideshares. We service a wide range of passengers through several programs and we also provide rides to the general public. As a Medicaid/Reach-up broker for the state of Vermont, RCT coordinates medical trips for Medicaid eligible residents and transportation for Reach-up programs.

Area Agency on Aging, Adult Day Services, Northeast Kingdom Human Services, Central Vermont Council on Aging, Out and About and the Northeast Kingdom Community Action are just some of the agencies that RCT provides transportation for.

Rural Community Transportation, Inc. is also a coordinator for the Vermont statewide Rideshare program. This program is designed to reduce congestion, conserve fuel, and help clean up the environment by sharing a ride. RCT matches individuals looking for rides with those already registered with Rideshare as looking for someone to share expenses of traveling to and from work daily
