Proposed Updates to the Jay Lyn Shuttle Route

Notice of Public Hearing

Date; Tuesday February 10th, 10 AM

Location Online at; https://zoom.us/j/99455658793

Rural Community Transportation (RCT) invites community members to participate in an online public hearing on February 10 at 10:00 a.m. to review and discuss proposed updates to the Jay Lyn Shuttle route.

To better serve community needs, RCT is proposing the addition of scheduled St. Johnsbury stops at the Fairbanks Inn, as well as requested stops at The Shelter at Moose River and Maple Grove Farms. These changes would not affect the current schedule.

These proposed changes would take effect on February 16, 2026. Community members are encouraged to attend the hearing, ask questions, and share their feedback.

RCT is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching lives and strengthening the social, economic, and environmental well-being of the communities we serve. Through innovative and accessible transportation solutions across Caledonia, Essex, Orleans, Lamoille, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties, RCT works to reduce barriers to essential services, amenities, and opportunities—helping foster health, connection, and vitality throughout the region.
