Updates to Rte 2 Commuter Bus Schedule

Please join Rural Community Transportation (RCT) for an online public hearing on June 17th at 10:00 AM to discuss proposed changes to the Route 2 Commuter schedule.
To better serve riders while meeting RCT’s 2026 fiscal budget, the proposed schedule would keep the 6:05 AM, 2:40 PM, and 3:45 PM departures from St. Johnsbury, preserving full round-trip service and key connections with GMT at 7:20 AM and 5:00 PM in Montpelier. The 7:40 AM and 5:30 PM routes from St. Johnsbury would be eliminated.
If approved, these changes would go into effect on July 1, 2025. Community members are encouraged to attend the hearing, ask questions, and share their input.
