RCT Bus

RCT to Resume Regular Bus Service Beginning June 15

As communities are opening up, RCT is planning to resume regularly scheduled bus service on all routes except the shopper routes, beginning June 15. To ensure proper social distancing, of six feet apart from other passengers and the bus driver, the buses will be operating at 50% capacity and the passengers must be traveling for an essential service. In the instance that there are too many passengers to fit on one bus, the bus driver will call a second bus to come immediately. RCT is asking that all passengers try to prepare for a longer wait time, in case they are asked to wait for the second bus.

RCT is working hard to support all individuals who need a ride. RCT offers more than only bus routes- RCT also offers a Dial-a-Ride service, Rides to Recovery and Job Access, Rides to Wellness and other Medicaid funded transportation programs. The programs RCT has in place are geared to help all people who need a ride, get a ride.

RCT is looking forward to opening up the bus routes to passengers with essential needs beginning on June 15, as always with a keen focus on safety and health. Wearing a mask is required for the duration of the trip and RCT thanks all riders in advance for working together for our collective safety. If you need a ride, please call RCT at (802) 748-8170.
