Volunteer Driver Program

Make a Difference, Become an RCT Volunteer Driver!

We get the most out of life when we are driven by a purpose.

At RCT, we have a special program that helps Vermonters every day. The RCT Volunteer Driver program brings people of all ages and all walks of life anywhere they need to go. Would you like to be a part of an important cause, help your neighbors, and be reimbursed for your expenses?

If so, the Volunteer Driver program is for you. Volunteer drivers are reimbursed according to the current GSA rate. Volunteer Drivers are not employees of RCT. Volunteers are just that - volunteers. If you would like to be a part of something important, on a schedule tailored to your life, and be reimbursed for it, call RCT today and we will get you enrolled and participating.

A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proper insurance are required to become a volunteer driver, as well as passing the required background checks.

WHAT DO OUR DRIVERS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT BEING A PART OF THIS IMPORTANT PROGRAM?

My name is Robyn Molleur. I have had the privilege to serve as a volunteer driver for RCT since 2017. This experience has opened my eyes to the necessity of this service for our communities. This beautiful rural state that we live in can be isolating to some of our more vulnerable community members. RCT serves to bridge our community with transportation from neighbors and friends. Thank you RCT for this opportunity to share just how happy I am to be a small part of this incredibly large mission.
